Justin Bieber may be one of the richest teenagers in the world, but he’s keeping his 17th birthday plans simple — by hanging out with his grandparents!

“Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I’ll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them,” the singer revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “My grandma makes the best cheesecake – cherry cheesecake. She made that for my 13th birthday.”

Biebs, whose birthday is March 1, is embarking on a world tour on March 4, so he’s hoping to spend the short amount the time around his birthday to “mentally prepare and just relax.”

It sounds like Biebs will be getting some much-deserved time off before his string of shows — but won’t he miss his sweetie Selena Gomez?

The snippets of the teen pop phenom's tresses have drawn 61 bids so far, and while we're happy he's donating the money to charity, not all of his fans are happy about his new look! After he revealed his new hairdo earlier this week, Bieber lost 80,000 Twitter followers, but he still has 7,620,627 followers as of 10:50 this morning, so we're guessing he didn't even notice...

During an interview with Piers Morgan Feb. 22, Playboy creator Hugh Hefner said the Biebs had put in a word to get permission to come visit.

“Today we got the news that Justin and his father want to come to the mansion,” the 83-year-old ladies’ man said. “Yes, it’s true.”

Justin Bieber has revealed that despite his fame, his mum still controls his pocket money.

The 16-year-old singer said that like most teens he is given a weekly allowance, but once it's gone, it's gone.

He told The Sun, 'I only have a credit card which allows me to spend a certain amount of money every month.

'If I reach the limit after the first week, I can't buy any more stuff until the month is over. My mum is in control of that.'

He added that his mother, Pattie Mallette, also has strong views about knickers being thrown on stage at his concerts.

He explained, 'My mum doesn't like it when that happens.

'Sometimes they have phone numbers written on them. I don't know what happens to them.'

Teen pop star Justin Bieber said he plans to 'just relax' on his upcoming 17th birthday.

The singer, who turns 17 on March 1, only has a few days off before he starts his world tour so wants to celebrate his birthday quietly.

He told ETOnline.com: 'I only have, like, four days, so I'm just going to relax, because I start my world tour on March 4 so just going to mentally prepare and just relax.

As to why he decided to change his famous hairstyle, Bieber said he just fancied a change.

Justin Bieber won the international breakthrough act at last week's Brit awards

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has been sized up for a waxwork at Madame Tussauds in London.

The new figure, which is costing £150,000 to make, will be unveiled next month.

The waxwork will have taken four months to complete by the time it's launched.

The 16-year-old was in the UK for the premiere of his documentary music film Never Say Never last week and picked up the international breakthrough act at the Brit awards.

Waxworks of Justin Bieber will also be unveiled at the same time at Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam and New York.

Liz Edwards from the attraction said: "Justin Bieber is truly a worldwide sensation.

"We have been absolutely inundated with requests from young fans from around the world to see him at Madame Tussauds.

"We're sure his fans will be just as delighted as we are that Justin will be joining the A-list here in March."

Justin Bieber will be seen in the interactive music zone alongside stars like Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and Justin Timberlake.

But the figure may be out of date quite soon.

The star's tweeted to say he's cut his hair for charity.

He said: "Yeah so it's true...i got a lil haircut...i like it...and we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction. Details coming soon."

Justin Bieber makes a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in an episode airing Wednesday (February 23).

The 16-year-old chatted about his new hairdo, telling Ellen, “I was inspired by yours.”

Justin then gave Ellen a belated birthday gift - a

GaGa's Born This Way continued its reign at #1 for the second week in a row, selling 509,000 tracks, which is a 14% increase from last week's sales.

As for The Biebs, his album Never Say Never: The Remixes was #1 on the Billboard 

200, with 161,000 copies sold!

With the premiere of GaGa's Born This Way music video on its way and The Biebs' Never Say Never being re-released, we're thinking these two are likely to continue dominating all types of charts!

The very fabric of the universe was altered today ... Justin Bieber got a haircut ... and it was unveiled on TMZ Live!

The Biebs underwent a little snip-snip today while on the set of a music video for a song he did withRascal Flatts -- that's Gary from the group (above) having a little fun with the scissors. (Ed.'s note: Kids, don't play with scissors)  

On TMZ Live today, Justin said the actual cutting was done by his regular hairdresser Vanessa. He said he was a little nervous about the cut, but he "wanted to change it up" and he thought the cut was "kind of a mature look."


They grow up so fast.

UPDATE:  The hair that was cut from Justin's head has been collected and will be doled out to a few organizations for charity.  TMZ is getting a lock and we're going to use it to raise money for some animal charities.
